Personal Training Assessment
This Assessment is like an mobility checkup, but for your current fitness level. It is intended to help you meet your fitness goals, and decrease your risk of Chronic diseases. It includes an testing of your physical fitness, reviews your current health, and provides a summary report that identifies your strengths and weaknesses. Your Personal Trainer will then tailor a personalized exercise prescription that suggests activities and exercises to improve your physical health and overall wellness.Your checkup will include:
- Posture and Alignment
- Upper and Lower Body dysfunctions
- Core Strength
- Balance and Coordination
- Aerobic Endurance
Summary Report: Once you have completed the checkup, you will will receive a hard copy summary of findings, which includes exercises that you can work on with one of our trainers.
Personalized Exercise Prescription: Your exercise prescription will include specific interventions for exercise dose, intensity, and frequency based on the results of your checkup. You will get a packet of exercises that will target your weaknesses and a list recommendations and referrals to other professionals as appropriate.
All the information you will receive will help better understand what areas of your body could cause an injury. We will give you exercises based on flexibility, strength, balance and cardio ability. You will also have the opportunity to join one of our programs that focus on improving your strength, mobility and balance.
We offer other ways to take advantage of our Personal Trainer Programs
This program provides you with a one-on-one in clinic Personal Training you pick from a 30 min or 1 hour session. This option allows our trainers to help you understand and implement the changes recommended in your exercise prescription and to ensure that you are using proper form and reaching appropriate cardiovascular targets as you perform the recommended exercises correctly to meet your personal performance goals.
This is a special Exam offered at Stretch and Stretch and Recover that looks at joint mobility that can be limiting you from achieving your personal goals. Once we determine the mobility deficits we make recommendations and set up programs to help you get your goals achieved.
Sports Fit PlanWe offer this for students that are new to a sport or that need sports specific conditioning, but do not know what to do. This provides you with a one-on-one head-to-toe musculoskeletal exam and exercise prescription tailored to your unique sports need.

A review of your current training program to ensure a well-rounded training approach that is assisting you in preparing for your sporting season. This program will help you improve your technique, performance, strength, flexibility so that you can prevent injury. This will help you become the best you can be at your game.
