“This is not your typical program,” Kim explains. “It’s different from anything else happening around here or anywhere, really.
Everyone and I mean everyone has a right to personal training in their home, office and while traveling.
Drew Melvin, Personal Trainer, Assisted Stretch Specialist
Drew has experience with competitive and recreational athletes, post-rehab, and chronic pain patients. Because of his background in corrective exercise, his training focuses on fixing muscular imbalances, increasing mobility & stability, as well as injury prevention and athletic performance. I especially enjoy working with individuals who are new to strength training and teaching them why it is an important part of leading a healthy lifestyle.
Why We Exist
"Why can't the common person have the same opportunities as others who can get out of the house,"asks Kim. "Our local homebound customers are frustrated because they are not able to get out of the home due to chronic autoimmune problems, so she decided to bring the trainer to them.
As a busy mother, grandmother, physical therapy assistant and owner of Stretch Physical Therapy, Kim knows well the value of time and convenience.
"Under online Personal Training, chronic disease now has an "Advocate" Stretch and Recover, Megan Jay, Kim's Daughter and Drew will work together to implement programs for people that cannot get out of their home safely, so that they can rebuild and regain mobility and strength.
"Stretch and Recovery is a commitment to yourself. Set yourself up for success for the new year," Kim says. "We can get you back to doing those things you want to do."
